Apple Watch Update
Apple announced the new Apple Watch Series 4 in September, and we were quick to launch a complete overhaul of the MySwimPro Apple Watch app. The new layout offers enhanced visibility of the most important metrics in real-time during a swim workout. We optimized for the larger screen and running a workout on your Apple Watch is better than ever!

New Training Plan
Training Plans are the most popular feature of the MySwimPro platform and from what we’ve seen the biggest impact to our community. Swimming without a training plan is a bit like trying to drive in a foreign country without a map: you’ll always get somewhere, but the place you arrive may not be where you actually want to be. Checkout the new 5k Open Water training plan below:
5k Open Water Training Plan Overview:
- Duration: 12 weeks
- Workouts: 48
- Average Workout: 4,000 meters = 70 minutes
- Goal: Race a 5k (or comparable) Open Water Race
The 5k Open Water Training Plan is one of the most advanced programs in the application and is specifically designed to help you improve your 5k racing time or full Ironman swim. The workouts in this plan are for experienced swimmers who are focused on distance training or competing in a long-distance race.
