Michael Phelps is the greatest Olympian of all time, and also the greatest swimmer of all time. No other swimmer has controlled all four events, plus the medley swims, with the same level of dominance. He did this across a span of 5 Olympiads. His World Competition [FINA] results are equally dominant. It is not scientifically possible to calculate the greatest ATHLETE of all
time because sports differ too much in content and pertinent factors. He deserves the life he now leads, raising a family and being a husband. His achievements are appropriate to discuss alongside the works of Tom Brady in football, Tiger Woods in golf, and a couple more in basketball and soccer/football.
