Team MySwimPro recently competed at the U.S. Masters Swimming Short Course National Championships at the incredible Kino Aquatic Center in Mesa, Arizona. It was an incredible week filled with fast swimming, getting to know our community members, and a ton of fun. Check out our recap video below:

Our team flew out to sunny Arizona to compete in the meet, and spend 3 days on deck with 2,000 swimmers from all over the country. A handful of MySwimPro Ambassadors were competing, in addition to hundreds of other athletes who train with the MySwimPro app! It was a blast watching the 80s-90s age group division swim, what an inspiration!

We also hosted our very own MySwimPro Social on Saturday, April 27, which was an awesome way to connect with the MySwimPro community and have some fun and relaxation during the meet.

U.S. Masters Swimming Nationals

This Short Course Nationals was one of the largest events ever put on by U.S. Masters Swimming. The National Governing body for adult fitness swimming in the United States had over 2,000 registered athletes for this spring Nationals.

There were studs, and there was depth in every event across every age group. Team MySwimPro held up medaling, scoring points, and racing head to head with the best!

It was exciting to watch our community members race, after prepping for the competition and training with the MySwimPro app. Members of our community captured top 3 finishes, best times, and huge improvements across their races!

Special Appearance By 4x Olympic Gold Medalist Matt Grevers

It was also amazing to meet and watch 4x Olympic Gold Medalist Matt Grevers swim at this meet! He took photos with fans on deck, swam three individual events, and joined his childhood friends for a relay.

Grevers set an unofficial USMS record in the 50 backstroke and won the 50 breaststroke in addition to his relay swim.

30 athletes from around the country joined us at Maya NY Pizza Bar and Grill in Mesa, Arizona for free appetizers, drinks, swim trivia and prizes!

Swimmers got to share stories from the meet, exchange tips for how they’re training with the MySwimPro app, and test their skills with swimming facts in trivia. We really appreciate everyone for coming out!
