Happy #WorldSwimDay!
On Saturday, October 27, we invite all swimmers to participate in MySwimPro’s World Swim Day Challenge, a virtual global swim workout designed to celebrate our community’s love for swimming.

Our team is made of swimmers of all fitness levels and abilities, so you get to choose your challenge and complete the swim workout however you want. Whether you’re in a pool or an ocean, swimming alone or with a group–you get to choose what your goal is and get your swim workout in on your own time.
The 1 Mile swim workout below is a fantastic beginner to intermediate level training session that will engage your body for 40 minutes and allow you to participate in World Swim Day! You’ll be able to access this workout in the app on 10/27/2018!

WORKOUT STATISTICS:

The drill for this workout is Fist Drill: Ball up both your hands into a fist and swim as you normally would. By reducing the surface area of your hand, you’re forced to pull the water more efficiently with your entire arm. This really engages your forearms. As you extend forward imagine you’re reaching over a large log to pull yourself forward. Once you go back to normal swimming, the nerves in your hands should feel alive and swimming should feel effortless.
