Las Vegas Masters is an adult swimming program, training primarily at the Desert Breeze Aquatic Center in fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada! It’s an impressive group that includes past collegiate stars, Olympic swimmers, Olympic Trials competitors, FINA Masters world record holders, USMS record holders, long-time swimmers, and late bloomers in the sport.
At workouts you’ll find moms and dads, young and old, singles, and couples. Las Vegas Masters swimmers are very hard working and score high at swim meets. The team is lead by Victor Hecker. An incredibly passionate coach who brings a wealth of experience in all disciplines of the sport. Coach ‘Vic’ is proud of the team’s work ethic, camaraderie and willingness to learn.
The team competes in two local LVM-hosted swim meets in January and June every year. They also compete at USMS Spring National Championships and at USMS Summer National Championships. Las Vegas Masters sends swimmers to represent Team USA every two years at the FINA Masters World Championships and are well-represented at many of the Regional SPMS championships.
