Frequently Asked Questions
What is the MySwimPro beta program?
The MySwimPro beta program lets users try out pre-release software. The feedback you provide on quality and usability helps us identify issues, fix them, and make MySwimPro even better. Please note that since the public beta software has not yet been commercially released, it may contain errors or inaccuracies and may not function as well as commercially released software.
What is expected of MySwimPro beta testers?
MySwimPro beta testers are expected to submit feedback on usability and problems with the MySwimPro app regularly. Occasionally we may reach out via email to request feedback on specific features. MySwimPro reserves the right to remove members from the beta program at any time and for any reason.
How do I provide feedback?
The best way for you to provide feedback on beta builds is to use the Contact Us form in the Settings screen of the MySwimPro app. You can also email us at email@example.com.
How often are new beta builds released?
We aim to release a new beta build every week, though sometimes it could be more or less often. If you are on iOS, we recommend turning on Auto-update in the Testflight app to ensure you are always on the latest and greatest version of MySwimPro.
Data loss!? Will I lose my swim data?
Installing the beta version will not overwrite any existing data, so your previous swims will stay safe when you install the beta app. The beta version of MySwimPro is slightly riskier than the App Store version, so there is a slightly higher-than-average chance of problems like crashes or data-loss happening in updates to the beta version. We do our best to fix issues like this when they come up (which is very rarely) as soon as we hear about them. If this sounds too risky for you, we recommend using the public release version of MySwimPro, available on the App Store and Google Play.
Is it free?
The beta program is free to join. Access to all MySwimPro Elite features requires a paid subscription, though some features may be unlocked for testing purposes 😄
