From 3-5 December 2016, over 1,000 delegates from the global Aquatics industry congregated at the Caesars Windsor Resort and Convention Centre. This event only happens once every two years. While I annually attend the U.S. Aquatic Sports Convention, this was my first World Aquatics Conference, and it was amazing to meet coaches and industry leaders from across the planet before the FINA World Championships.

Our mission is to provide a platform on which the global Aquatics family comes together to network, share best practice and encourage greater engagement in Aquatic sport.

Each delegation is made up of athletes, coaches, and national staff members to conduct business and also recognize the outstanding achievements that have shaped the organization in the last year. The convention is run concurrently with the Golden Coaches Clinic, which featured top coaches including Bob Bowman and David Marsh.
